How to reach?
It is 80 km from Mysore and about the same distance from Ooty. Mysore is 160 km from Bangalore and Bangalore is connected well by air, rail and bus. There are plenty of buses going from Bangalore and Mysore to Ooty via Mudumalai.

What to see?
You can take a jeep safari organized by the hotel. Chances are there that you will see elephants. Spotting tigers and leopards may be rare..

Food
There are only two restaurants attached to the two important forest hotels, Jungle Hut and Monarch Safari Park.

What to wear?
Cotton is still preferable.
