About 4 hours drive from Mysore. It is a real wild experience! Cottages and tented accommodation is provided by Jungle Lodges and Resorts, owned by Karnataka governemnt.

How to reach?
Is located at Karapur, about 220 km from Bangalore and 80 km from Mysore on the Mysore-Manathavadi Road. A taxi is a must to go to this place.

Climate
Moderate climatic conditions.

What to see?
Wildlife tour into Nagarhole National Park in the Resorts Jeeps and Vans. Night times, they show video films of wildlife at the resort. The most thrilling experience is the coracle (a very small boat, round in shape) on the Kabini river.

Food
The Resorts provide good food. There is no other outlet nearby.

What to wear?
There is nothing to be specifically suggested, though it is better to avoid gaudily coloured attire, to avoid attention of animals
