How to reach?
The nearest airport is Bagdogra (about 85 km). The nearest railhead is at Siliguri. There are regular buses from here to Darjeeling as well as Siliguri. (Siliguri is the gateway to both Darjeeling and Gangtok).

Tashi View point, Deer Park, Enchey Monastery, the Royal Chapel and the Institute of Tibetology.

Food
Good, but, typically north Indian food. High-end hotels serve multi-cuisine items.
