How to reach?
Bandipur is 60 km from Mysore. Mysore is 160 km from Bangalore. Bangalore is connected by air, rail and buses. Mysore is also connected by train and luxury buses from major places.

Climate
A hot place, unlike Bangalore.

What to see?
It is a forest. You are sure to see wild elephants, herds of deer. Tigers and leopards are there in the forest. If you stay in one of the resorts and if you look for tigers carefully, chances of sighting them are really there.

Food
You have to depend solely on the restaurants attached to hotels. There are very few hotels.

What to wear?
The place is sufficiently hot in the day and a bit cold in the night. Plan accordingly.
