Day-1 Arrival at Puri. Visit Jagannath Temple, Konark Sun Temple and Puri Beach.

Arrival at Puri. Puri is a renowned Pilgrimage and a beach getaway. Visit Jagannath Temple Complex (a renowned Pilgrimage for Hindus) and visit the Puri Beach. Visit Konark Sun Temple (A UNESCO World Heritage Site) (35 kms).

Day-2 Bhubaneswar sightseeing and temple visits

Full day Excursion to Bhubaneswar (65 kms) covering Nandankanan Zoo (25 kms from Bhubaneswar), a nature park renowned for its White Tiger Population. Thereafter Visit Lingaraja Temple (Impressive 11th Century Temple) and Brahma Temple. Visit Bindu Sagar, lake around Linga Raja Temple and Brahma Temple. Visit Vaital Devi Temple near Bindu Sagar, a Chamunda Devi Temple in the form of Tantric Goddess. Visit Raj Rani Temple is an 11th century ancient temple and renowned for its architecture. Return to Puri by Evening.

Day-3 Departure

Depart for onward journey.

Jagannath Puri Temple Complex

Jagannath Temple is established in the 12th century and is one of the major pilgrim centres in India. The main temple of Jagannath is an impressive structure constructed in Kalinga architecture, with a height of 65 meters. There are number of temples are a part of the temple complex. Kanchi Ganesha Temple, Narasingha Temple (11th Century. 58 high), Vimala Temple (13th Century. 60" high), Lakshmi Temple (12th Century), Surya Temple (17th Century and 63" high),Mukti Mandap (1578 AD, 16 pillared temple) etc are temples that are visited by the pilgrims.

Puri Beach

Puri beach is a highly touristy spot which gets crowded during weekends. There are number of food stalls and many other things to do that gives one an impression of being at a Chow patty.

Konark Sun Temple

Konark Sun Temple is a 13th century Sun Temple. The temple is one of the most renowned temples in India and is a World Heritage Site. It is considered one of the Seven heritage Wonders of India. The Sun Temple, built in the thirteenth century, was conceived as a gigantic chariot of the Sun God, with twelve pairs of exquisitely ornamented wheels pulled by seven horses. Quite a bit is still intact and therefore a delight for any heritage traveller.
